Rates and Info

The 2009 pheasant season runs from Oct. 17th 2009 through Jan. 3rd 2010.

Our 2009 pheasant rates are: $225/gun/day from Oct. 17th through Nov. 1st.
$200/gun/day from Nov. 2nd through Jan. 3rd 2010.

This includes -Fully guided hunt with trained dogs.
-Field transportation
-Field Lunch

50% deposit is required upon reserving your hunt.

Legal shooting hours for pheasant are: 12:00 noon to sunset Oct. 17th - Oct 23rd 2009.
10:00 a.m. to sunset Oct. 24th 2009 - Jan. 3rd 2010.

We will help arrange motel reservations if needed

Daily limit is 3 cock pheasants/day/person. 15 bird possession limit.

Bird processing is available locally for $3 bird.

Shells and hunting gear are readily available in our area. Contact Steve for details.
South Dakota residents will need an annual small game, 1-day small game, youth small game, combination, or junior combination license to hunt pheasants.

Nonresident adults need a nonresident small game license. The cost is $110 and is valid for two, five-day periods that are designated on the nonresident small game application (avail. in May/June). Licenses are available over-the-counter from License Agents throughout the state, by application through the mail or online at the SD Game, Fish and Parks Web-site� www.sdgfp.info/Index.htm .
